Start your Friday with a bit of an English refresher — and some zombie-dispatching! Sega has created a short Flash demo for English of the Dead, recreating the multiple-choice training mode. In this mode, a zombie will run out and threaten you with two rubber mallets. Then, a Japanese sentence (our Flash player doesn’t have Japanese language support, hence the gibberish) and a partial English translation will appear. It’s up to you to choose the correct English word on the bottom screen, and compel the zombie to jump into a trap door!
You actually have to wait a long time before the zombie will attack you. Presumably this is more challenging if you don’t know English.

XBL and PSN demo live today, Codemasters gives away a car.
A pretty hefty demo of Race Driver: Grid has just launched on Xbox Live (and later today on PSN) including a time trial competition for which Codemasters will be giving away a BMW 3-Series.

Codemasters just released a new demo to the Xbox Live Marketplace for their upcoming street racer Race Driver GRID and yes, this demo surprised us too.
The 795MB GRID demo allows gamers to race around in and experience three different regions including Europe Touring Cars at Jarama Circuit, U.S Muscle cars at San Francisco and Japanese Drift Racing at Yokohama Docks. We’re also told that GRID demo players in Europe will have a chance to win a BMW 3-Series, if they can log the fastest lap time in the Jarama Euro Touring cars championship. So, no more complaining that European Live gamers don’t get any exclusive offers. Mmkay? Download the GRID demo, see if it’s your cup of racing tea and try and win team X3F a new BMW. Dibs on riding shotgun.
